An account of one small Welsh farm's attempts to become carbon neutral, using the simplest and best techniques available on a shoestring budget. We've installed, bit by bit, insulation and a passive solar conservatory system and are looking at photovoltaics.
Mur Crusto is a small organic vegetable-growing farm in north west Wales. We run a veg box scheme for around 35 customers. We also have an eco-holiday cottage, a total rebuild of a traditional stone farm building, incorporating as many energy-saving systems as we could afford. This cottage is for holiday lets.
